Bokashi Composting Bucket
Easy kitchen composting system

The Green Frog Bokashi Bucket is a practical and convenient way to prevent food waste from ending up in landfill, while providing your garden with a nourishing food source and enriching microbes. This unique composting system uses the highly effective micro-grganism Bokashi to create the ideal conditions for anaerobic composting, eliminating the odours and unpleasantness associated with putrefaction and decay.

You can compost almost every kitchen food waste including fresh fruit and vegetables, prepared foods, cooked and uncooked meats and fish, dairy, eggs, bread, coffee grounds, tea bags, wilted flowers and tissues. Do not include liquids or meat bones. The Bokashi Bucket composting system significantly accelerates the composting process of organic waste, producing rich compost and more life from the micro-organisms.

A by-product of the fermentation process, Bokashi juice, is alive with effective micro-organisms and diluted with water makes a terrific fertiliser for the garden or pot plants. Around the house the concentrated Bokashi Juice can be poured directly into your kitchen and bathroom drains, toilets or septic systems to prevent algae build-up and control odour. It will also help to clean up our waterways by competing with harmful bacteria.

Made from 70% recycled plastic, for use with Bokashi Composting Mix, sold separately.

41 x 31 x 31 cm, made from 70% recycled plastic. Full instructions are provided with the bucket.

NOTE: Due to volume of the package, the Bokashi Bucket is only available for delivery by regular post within Australia. It is not available for Express Post, nor for overseas orders.
